Take a Walk in Your Students Shoes was a great parent night in which the students had to allow their parents to experience their life as a fourth grade students. The "student teachers" were very excited to share and teach their parents about what we were learning about in reading, writing, and math.
The night all started with my first teacher Jeremiah Holmes. He could hardly wait to teach is Uncle everything about how to find area and perimeter, nonfiction features, and he also wanted his Uncle to read his published realistic fiction story. He was moving so quickly I didn't get a chance to snag his picture ! THANKS JEREMIAH - YOU STARTED THIS PARENT NIGHT OFF JUST RIGHT !
Our second set of teachers were Ms. Destiny and Ms. Gwen.
They each took their time to explain everything to their students!

Then our next set of teachers were Ms. Rebeca and Ms. Alyssa
"They were awesome teachers !" quoted their students
They definitely worked very hard with their students !
Ms. Brittany tries to explain to her student that she has to count every side of an irregular shape to find its perimeter !
After re-teaching, Mom finally got it!

Here is Ms. Jakiyah, I think she understands the hard work of being a good teacher to her students !
Thanks for the "close up" lil' sister :) !

Finally, to end the night Mr. Edwin and Mr. Ariel worked very hard with their students until they were successful !
I was very proud of all of them, they did a great job sharing what they learned! Now do you all think that being a teacher is EASY???????????
