Our Field Trip to The Post Office
In our Writing Unit on Friendly Letters our students enjoyed learning about how to write a friendly letter using its five main parts. On our field trip, the students learned the purpose and duties of a local Post Office in Monroe, NC. They learned about how much it costs to send a letter, how mail is sorted, and mainly how a post office runs. They enjoyed themselves, and they know now the importance of the Post Office.
